What do I pay for when using Visual AI by Ximilar?
Both training (including training time) and deployment, as well as idle time, are free with Ximilar. You only pay for the actual usage of our services in production – read about API calls & credits.
How do the API calls and API credits work?
By using online solutions built with our platform, you make API calls (requests). Different API calls have different values in API credits. These values are listed and explained in our Pricing and API documentation.
Every pricing scheme, including the Free plan, has a monthly supply of API credits. You can keep track of your credit consumption in the App, and you will be notified via e-mail when 70, 90, and 100 % of your credit supply runs out. The unused credits from the monthly supply expire by the end of the monthly period.
Apart from the monthly supply, you can purchase as many API credit packs as you need. These credit packs will only be used after your monthly supply runs out, and will therefore secure the consistency of your service in case of unexpected system loads. Unlike the monthly supply, the API credit packs do not expire.

What are the limitations in pricing?
The basic services provided by Ximilar are free, so anyone can try to train their own AI and test how these services work on their data.
However, image processing by visual AI requires computing power and cloud storage. That is why the number of image collections, images, tasks, flows, or types of detected objects may be limited according to your plan. These limitations also depend on the monthly API credits supply that you choose for your pricing scheme.
Is training, deployment and using of my Image Recognition tasks charged?
No, the training of custom image recognition models on Ximilar platform is completely free, as well as deploying your solutions and making them accessible to the end users. Also, unlike the competition, Ximilar does not charge the customers for idle time or training time, and the basic scheme for our App users is Free. With Ximilar, you only pay for the actual usage of the services – read about API calls & credits.
What do I pay for when using the Flows?
Using Ximilar services consumes API credits. Ximilar provides three pricing plans with different monthly API credit supplies, including a free scheme with 3,000 free credits. Creating a Flow and chaining tasks don’t cost any API credits. There are, however, limitations as to how many Flows you can have.

How to change my credit card details?
If you use Stripe for your payments, access the “Stripe Portal” by going to Settings in your Ximilar App account. Within the Stripe Portal, you can handle your payment methods, including adding, removing, and updating your cards.

Which payment methods does Ximilar accept and how does the billing work?
Ximilar offers a monthly subscription plan and allows for separate purchases of API credit packs, both of which can be paid several ways.
Stripe is our primary service for secure credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) payments. Payments through Stripe are secure and encrypted. If you use Stripe or PayPal as your payment method, you can access your Stripe portal from your settings and manage your payment methods, change your card, and set your billing preferences.
PayPal is accepted for both subscription and one-time purchase payments on the Ximilar platform.
We accommodate payments via bank transfer by providing a monthly invoice that you can settle through your bank.
Business and Professional plan users are billed monthly, on the same recurring day. For instance, if you subscribe to a Business plan on April 13, your plan will renew and you will be billed each subsequent month on the 13th, until your subscription is canceled.
If you upgrade to a higher plan, you will be billed for it every month on the day you upgraded.
On your billing day, an invoice is automatically generated and emailed to you. You can also access your invoices in user settings.
What is the pricing for custom solutions?
Based on our initial call, we will provide you with a project proposal, including time schedule and budget, which will reflect the complexity of your solution.
After deploying the custom solution, you will pay a monthly plan (invoicing monthly or yearly) for using the services and hosting, according to our standard fees.
What if you stop supporting my service?
The probability of your service being discontinued is very low. However, if this situation happens, you will get all custom models trained on your data (e.g., classification, detection, custom similarity models) in standard ML formats (e.g., TF Lite, TensorFlow) and you can run them on your hardware platform.
